Third-Party Peptide Testing: Questions to Ask Before Ordering

LotusBio Editorial ·

Clarify the relationship between a test report, the tested sample and your proposed order.

Ask who selected the sample

Record who submitted the sample, how it was labeled and which batch it represents. A report can only be interpreted within the scope of the sample and methods described. Ask the supplier how that sample relates to the lot offered for sale.

Request the complete report

A screenshot can omit identifiers, method details or explanatory notes. Request the original document, including any appendices. If verification is available through the issuing laboratory, use that channel and retain a record of the response.

Resolve gaps with your quality team

List missing method information, unclear sample identifiers and any differences between quotation and report. Ask your organization’s qualified reviewers which additional records or testing are needed before procurement approval.
